While designing a web site, it is very important to make sure to test your site in as many browser as possible. Even if you have variety of web browser installed on your computer for testing, it can be time consuming to open each page of your site in multiple browsers and compare them. A complete list of the site and browser test combinations you ordered will appear on the following page. Notice that some screen shots may be labeled “In Progress” or “Not Started”. Refresh your browser window after a minute or two to see the latest status of the images.
- Look through the screenshots. Do any of the sites not display correctly in any of the browsers? Which one? Do you see any patterns in which certain sites frequently display incorrectly?
Because many site designers do not have the resources to test their sites in every possible browser, operating system and screen resolution, testing services such as BrowserCam can be extremely helpful for ensuring that your site will appear correctly for the widest possible range of users.
